this has absolutely nothing to do with clothes or shoes but it is nonetheless awesome. i read about this in one of my mom's interior decorating magazines and just about hit the floor and did the homer simpson dance. not only do i love my good shoe, but i just love shit like this. what better place to click-clackle my good shoes to than a place like this...
it's a fucking tree house. A FUCKING TREEHOUSE! i have been obsessed with treehouses ever since i saw the old swiss-family robinson movie when i was a little kid. the fact that the movie is so ridiculously inappropriate and offensive in so MANY ways is completely made up for by that unbelievable treehouse they erect mere days after the shipwreck... its not even 'a treehouse' its like a tree village... all those levers and pulleys, and the window treatments the mom salvages from the ship! AHH! I LOVE IT!
this treehouse is actually built by a really cool architecture firm in new zealand and commisioned by Yellow Pages... weird, but it's true. i read on a blog that the tree house is actually made from stacks of the yellow pages books, but i don't know if that is entirely true... and also ITS A RESTAURANT. sadly for us plebians, the restaurant is not available and is completely booked for the rest of eternity.
don't worry, ill find a way to climb in there somehow. trust me.
look the tablecloth they use in the restaurant have all the plans drawn on it. wow. now i know my purpose in life. i need to get into that thing.
